Here’s the skinny on this week Wednesday Dec 14 – Wed Dec 21
This Thursday and Friday are Green Days, we just had a full moon, we have Mercury Retro around the corner and Solstice next week…so I have been advising people to use the momentum of the lunar light this week and be in action around what they want to have finished this year because things are about to get a little wilder for the next two weeks starting this Sunday, at least.
Next week is Solstice and the year turns around, literally!
We have just experienced a super moon – and this bright, clear full moon shines the light and asks you: What do you want to see in the world or in your life in 2 years, in 5 years? What do you need to do this month or in 2017 to see that?
Did you see the full moon? Look Wednesday and Thursday night too, it will still be bright. Did you feel the clarity and the sweet calm glow and LONG TERM view that this moon inspires?
What do you want to PLANT that will bring future hopes and joy? (See more moon description below)
Now, the moon is waning…and with the Mercury Retrograde beginning Dec 19th, the energy will be a little more confused until we get to the new moon at the end of the month.
Then we begin the New Year with fresh NEW energy with both lunar and solar light building together and a mild Green Day. Yay!
Hope does spring eternal.
A Supermoon just passed in Taurus on Dec. 13 & 14 is great for grounding your year-end wishes and your long term goals.
This preparing and planting theme continues in your life through Dec 21st. Then comes the passion of your purpose with the next New Moon lighting you from the inside with the focus to keep showing up.
Now, this moon is all about the commitment (because Saturn is opposite an incredible supermoon in Earth sign). Remember this is a Vedic sky map, so I will be saying the full moon occurs where you SEE it in the sky standing on Earth. This is the same map that astronomers use.
Where and how are you willing to show up regularly, and tend to something you want to see more of in the world? Is it teaching, is it sharing art or creativity, is it that you want to know you gardened in those 5 years and that life is good in the everyday. Do you want to help a policy change or be the best parent or grandparent you can be? Are you committing to be the best you and have a great time in life, which might also call in a life partner?
Where do you want to help change take root? Prepare the soil by what you choose to water and feed your body and soul.
Wed Dec 21 at 10:44 UTC or at 2:44 am PST is Solstice! The year turns around!
It’s the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere and the longest day of the year in the southern hemisphere.
Use the turn-around of solstice to kindle the light inside of you, especially since Venus is kindling creativity and innovation in incredible new ways through Dec 28.
Get Ready for Mercury Retrograde from December 19, 2016 – January 8, 2017.
The good news is that Mercury and Jupiter also have a special exchange right now. More on how to find the theme that Mercury potentially lights up for you next week.
Venus in Capricorn Dec 3 – Dec 28
Get ready to be inspired and innovative, to connect the dots by combining two different worlds, and making a huge impact.
This Venus is what inspired the invention of peanut butter cup, two great things combined to make something better. I say this partially in jest, but this Venus is a truly inventive one – these planetary influences help you use both sides of your brain and combine two great ideas or arenas of commerce to make something new, like when the peanut butter cup was invented, or a school teacher took very basic Chinese medicine herbs and made it into a multi-million dollar company by adding fizz to it. (That company is Airborne by the way. The owner was featured on Oprah before she sold the company).
What is going to be your peanut butter cup moment?
