Monday – the Moon and Lunar Eclipses
The Moon connects with consciousness in Vedic Astrology. The nature of consciousness is altered in the windows of eclipses, and around lunar eclipses we often feel a little more ’emotional’, or tend to feel pressure or worry about something in our life a little more. If you can ride the wave of a lunar eclipse, and realize that this frenzied feeling will pass as soon as the eclipse has passed, you can take control of your life and emotions a little easier.
Be gentle with yourself in the week leading up to a lunar eclipse, especially the three days before, during and after an eclipse.
Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Taurus Nov 19, 2021
We are having a lunar eclipse Friday, Nov 19, 2021, the full moon will be in Taurus (Krittika lunar mansion).
It begins Thursday, Nov 18 at 10 pm Pacific Time, so get ready! (see times below)
It’s a MICRO FULL MOON in Taurus on Nov 19 at 8:57 AM UTC/GMT (London) and Nov. 19 at 3:57 AM EST, at 12:57 AM PST,
and at 7:57 PM AEDT (Australia).
The Lunar Eclipse Peaks at 9:04 UTC. It begins at 6:02 UTC, and ends at 12:04 pm UTC. See table below.
The darkest portion of the eclipse lasts 3 hours, 28 minutes, but the entire eclipse is the longest in the past century.
It is visible in much of Europe, Much of Asia, Australia, North/West Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic.

There are three ways to use this energy – Set the habit or ritual you want to DO for the next six months (meditate, say mantra, or “don’t do” a habit you are trying to quit)
1. Tonight before bed 2. During the 3 hours of the eclipse or at the center of the eclipse or 3. First thing tomorrow morning when you wake.
It’s your choice. Depending on when the eclipse occurs for you, you can choose one or all three of these to use the lunar eclipse portal of clearing and claiming you.
Thursday, Nov. 18 is the day to begin your HABIT REVERSING PRACTICES if you live in the U.S., Canada or the Americas.
Because the Lunar Eclipse peaks at 10 pm PST, Thursday, Nov. 18 and peaks at 4 am EST Friday, Nov 19, I am recommending that the practice or ritual you choose for the eclipse begin on THURSDAY NOV. 18.
If you are in the Americas or Canada:
Either meditate, stretch, say mantra (see below), do yoga or sit quietly at dawn on Thursday Nov. 18 and that night before bed and also on Friday Nov. 19. This will have you connecting with PEACE and cultivating quiet before and after the eclipse which occurs in the middle of the night for you.
If you are in Europe, Asia or East of there in Australia, New Zealand:
then the eclipse occurs at 9:04 am UTC/GMT or almost 8 pm AEDT in Australia. (NASA table of eclipse times) I suggest that you can focus on Friday, Nov. 19 meditating at dawn, mantra (see below) or sitting quietly to help reverse a pattern

There’s a secret way to use Lunar eclipses.
This event typically throws the best-made plans and resolutions off track, and takes weeks and up to a month to return to where you felt you were before the ECLIPSE. Since you have access to this super special, Natural Rhythm Insight you will know how to start 2022 right and make it an even more successful year.
*Movement, singing or dance helps emotions express and clear
Friday is your window to use this special force to co-create calm. Try to eat your meals at regular times every day this week, get plenty of rest and fresh air. If you feel irritated or upset, its a signal to take a break and stretch or move your body and help emotions find movement. Emotions are just energy moving in the body – we don’t need to suppress or hold them in, movement, dance, fresh air, deep breaths all help this energy move and resolve. Some people sing or hum as their form of movement.
The partial Lunar Eclipse will give you an opportunity to watch your emotions and discover new ways of finding peace, cooling anxiety or noticing where you are attracted to drama, struggle or negative thought patterns.
Lunar eclipses are windows that can help you reverse mental patterns and scattered thinking and to stop some habit, if you choose – if you act Consciously on that day.
You have a window into cultivating immense deep peace, if you can meditate and settle your mind on lunar eclipse days. Or to develop kindness with yourself if you feel a hot mess.

Mantras for a Lunar Eclipse
I mentioned in the video that there are some mantras that you could be listening to or singing. Here are two for this lunar eclipse:
Gayatri Mantra – The Mantra of Light
(Here is a short sample of Gayatri Mantra – the third mantra which begins at 2-minute mark of this video of Gina Sala sharing her incredible voice and wisdom).
Maha MrtYunJaya Mantra – The Mantra which overcomes darkness (This is not a perfect Sanskrit meter/rhythm and it is from Ravi Shankar Maha Mrtyunjaya mantra, track 8 on the CD Chants of India).
Then ON the Total Lunar Eclipse day arrange to have:
* A clean and tidy house…
* Shopping finished, so you can have easy meals…
* Time to stretch and move your body…
* Time to meditate as frequently and as long as you currently can (no matter how short, just
* And the commitment to stay focused that day in the face of likely distractions or desires of ‘not doing what is good for you’ on that day.
You can set yourself up for success with daily exercise, daily meditation or stop eating certain foods for the next six months if you strive to have the lunar eclipse day be as calm as possible, and just on that day, not to eat that food/candy/temptation. It is amazing what happens.
And if you can, delay important conversations or meetings.
Mega Red Days – Windows for great change
Here is another secret. Lunar and solar eclipse days are Mega Red Days. Lunar eclipses and solar eclipses are used differently to help you take your life to the next level (by eliminating bad habits that is). More on solar eclipses later.
There are four to six Mega Red Days per year that you do NOT want to expand, celebrate, travel, sign contracts or make new moves if you can help it. The Conscious Calendars show you right on the calendars when they occur.
A lunar eclipse may affect emotions more at the time of the event and for two weeks leading up to and after the lunar eclipse.
Remember: November 19 is the NEXT lunar eclipse.
There was a lunar eclipse two days before the end of the U. S. Civil War. The end of Apartheid came just before a lunar eclipse creating great change.
So, the eclipses can sometimes set patterns of tumult that occur within days or weeks of the event – especially when related to social movements or individual health issues.
Lunar eclipses can only occur on full moons. They occur when the moon is on the opposite side of the earth from the Sun. The Sun’s light is blocked from shining onto the moon because the earth is blocking the light.
Lunar eclipses occur only two to three times every year at the most.
Lunar eclipses point to a specific emotional pattern and hand it to you on a silver platter to observe and stop it in your life or shift it.
You can discover those places you might act unconsciously. Sometimes you might observe yourself doing or saying something that just slipped out of your mouth, or you might get a little more upset or sensitive around lunar eclipses. This is helping you discover within you where you can bring more love, attention, and space.
And…bringing as much regularity to your daily routine is going to help immensely.
Lunar eclipses give you a golden chance to set a new pattern, by NOT doing that unconscious thing that gets you into trouble.
Again, lunar eclipses are NOT a day to seed ideas and intentions, contrary to what you may see plastered all over the internet and in many newsletters of spiritual guides.
This is a day to cultivate peace – and alter patterns that bring drama into your life.
Then if you can meditate or cultivate a moment of peace on that day, no matter how short the time, you will progress by leaps and bounds in your spiritual development.
