The Full Moon in Scorpio is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse
Welcome to Eclipse Season! We have 3 eclipses this June and July, 2020.
Scorpio is a water sign – prepare to use the entire week June 4 – 11 to help melt fixed or frozen areas of your life. Moving from fixed to flow is the theme!
One of the positive intentions I gave all Conscious Calendars Annual subscribers is: “I am preparing this week to cocoon and melt away accumulations, blockages and obstructions. I welcome flow and health.”
Count on using June 5 and 6 as good days for broadening your daily spiritual practices! Eclipses are great windows for spiritual practices. This is embedded in the Vedic Astrology system and how I came up with calling eclipses Mega Red Days. It’s a way to show you quickly to set aside these days or to let any annoyances roll off your back. You can create deeper Peace within yourself and the world by choosing peace and non-violence on eclipse days. These are special windows in time which amplify what we do.
Scroll down to see a simple ritual for the entire weekend June 5 – 7 that you can do and some Dos and Dont’s on eclipse days.
Full Moon occurs Friday June 5 at 19:12 UTC and 8:12 pm GMT / 3:12 pm ET / 12:12 pm PT and Jun 6 5:12 am AEDT
Time of Greatest Eclipse June 5 19:26 UTC or June 6 3:45 – 7:04 am AEDT (Just 14 minutes after the peak of the full moon)
(For instance, the lunar eclipse will last 3 hours from 6:45 pm through 10:04 pm GMT in London)
You can still use the entire day of any eclipse day to reverse patterns!
Lunar Eclipses are called Mega Red Days on the Conscious Calendars
The eclipses this year are June 5 (or 6), June 20 (or 21) and July 4 (or 5) – and there is one more set of eclipses at the end of 2020. The date of your exact eclipse depends on where you live.
See the times at the top of your Conscious Calendar to see WHICH day is the eclipse day for you according to your location. Find the 3 (Three) days of eclipses for you.
For example, London, UK has penumbral lunar eclipse on June 5 and July 4 and June 21 annual solar eclipse.
All New sign-ups to the Conscious Calendars list receive a free month of the calendars. You can see the times of the full and new moons at the top of every month of Conscious Calendars.

On Eclipse Days I wake and go into my usual morning routine. I focus all my efforts on getting straight to meditation and mantra for the day of the eclipse to make sure I am not distracted by anything. I also exert extra effort the day after the eclipse. This helps anchor that I am not allowing distractions get in my way to my daily practice commitments. Then later in the day I make sure to take a gentle walk.
You can use the cosmic forces of the day to help you reverse karmic patterns!
See the Mega Red Day Report to learn WHY this is so important.
The full moon is in a wise-sage place within Scorpio called Jyeshta, which means honoring those who are older and wiser than us. And listening to what those who have been walked similar paths to us. There are some great lessons to be learned in listening to those who have walked before us.
Strawberry Moon
This full moon is called a Strawberry Moon because strawberries are ripening at this time (in the northern hemisphere).
Ritual for the eclipse
You can do this anytime in the week surrounding the lunar eclipse (from June 4 – June 12). This is a lovely practice anytime and will have significance around the full moon in a place of ‘wisdom’ and listening to the elders.
Write a letter to a younger version of yourself. Think of a difficult time in your life. Like a parent or elder, you are the adult-self looking back at your younger self. Pour kindness and understanding, forgiveness and love into what you are telling the younger version of yourself. That guidance, kindness and LOVE are helping you RIGHT NOW as you speak to the part of yourself that needs it right now.
You are time warping love to yourself in the past and now!
Eclipses can be times of internal storms or challenge
Eclipses are the storms of life which clear debris, blowing winds and fresh air into our lives.
Just like the Earth billions of years ago, the destructive storms and electrical charge is what created life on the planet. The charged atmosphere and building blocks of life was in the oceans was sparked.
Storms can bring excitement, fear or joy. Storms bring change and give you the spark which will give you the energy for of the next wave in your life. If you act out of fear, you might jump into what is next without perspective. If you sit and reflect on what is arising, you still experience what is next but you will be able to see what you are choosing more clearly.
This is why eclipses are windows in time to help you CHOOSE differently by going against your ‘impulse’. It is a cosmic window to wear down negative patterns because the forces of pull will be stronger.
See how strong you are! You are dissolving old patterns by slowing down on eclipse days.
With this knowledge you are NOW choosing differently instead of acting unconsciously.
May your life be filled with promise. Choose health, choose peace.
