What happens when Mercury goes direct
Mercury appears to move ‘backwards’ from the Earth’s point of view, when it is just orbiting the Sun.
This is called Mercury retrograde. Mercury retrograde occurs 3 to 4 times a year for about 3 weeks. It is a time known to be filled with miscommunications as Mercury is the planet of communication and is “The messenger”.
In every Mercury retrograde, messages and communications can get confused, schedules change often and our ‘wires may feel a little crossed’.
In Vedic Astrology, Mercury has its strongest effects in our lives at the beginning and end of that 3-week period, like with miscommunications or accidents with technology, but can also show as new solutions and ideas.
The Fourth Phase of Mercury Retrograde
Towards the end of the Mercury retrograde cycle, when Mercury goes direct, you enter the Fourth Phase of Mercury Retrograde.
The Fourth Phase is known as the integration phase. It is the time to look for resolutions to problems at this time. The answers often present a few days before Mercury Direct and in the week after Mercury going direct.
Look for answers, solutions and fixes to tech problems, communications, and relationship issues once Mercury goes direct.
When Mercury goes direct not all is finished. Clarity and answers can be applied and integrated now. The Fourth Phase of Mercury Retrograde is where the next stage of work is – completion.
