Mercury the planet of play, communication and learning “lights up” for an important few weeks each year.
Each year around September the planet of communication, healing, commerce (aka making Green or money) and learning is buzzing.
This opens a window for anyone who teaches or communicates for a living like coaches, teachers, human potential leaders, podcasters, yoga teachers and professors and marketers alike to discover and implement improvements in their work and life. I have observed some of the most lucrative businesses open during this time (*with the right planetary combinations).
Opportunities
This is the time of year that Mercury is the strongest place for contracts, deals, communication systems, learning, marketing, making deals, making mental connections with your knowledge, improving your communication skills and speaking abilities. Travel and the Hospitality Industry is also related to Mercury in its own way.
September lights up marketing, learning, deal-making, innovation and creativity in a special combination this year. This is all because of Mercury being in Virgo and functioning at its strongest all year. Each year has its own flavor and combination of Mercury with Jupiter and Venus. Mercury is the planet of communication, marketing, deals, planned obsolescence (the key to Bill Gates’ and Steve Jobs’ ability to keep making money), learning and nervous system.

Taking a thought and forming it into language and speaking is all a function of Mercury. Learning of all kinds is related to Mercury.
So, this time of year touches on many people’s lives and ramps up efforts by writers, teachers, marketers, students, and students of life.
It’s a great time to learn a new language or to learn about how you think!
Venus and Mercury in September 2019
In 2019, the month of September lights up opportunities related to Mercury and it is better if we allow fun and curiosity to lead our hearts and creativity.
Things feel a tad less inspired or creative (because of where Venus is), but the mind and everything else is ON for learning, deals and communications.
Mercury brings out the child in us all
Laughter, games and enjoying the world like a curious child will inspire you. Be open to the magic of the world and watch how your mind makes more connections. It is a great time to learn something new.
And we will still have the ability to FIND inspiration, we may just discover that our typical ‘go-to’ things we do for inspiration are shifting for a few weeks.
