New Moon in Gemini and Total Solar Eclipse

The New Moon is in Gemini on Tuesday July 2 / 3 2019. This New Moon is in the AIR sign that is ruled by Mercury and the world of thoughts. So this New Moon and eclipse are here to help us Let Go of some thought patterns that have us stuck in loops or are habits that keep us from thriving.

The New Moon is in Orion aligned with the Star Betelguese and is associated with the Sirius the DogStar.

We are being asked to shift our negative ‘self-talk’ patterns because this New Moon is in an AIR sign (ruled by Mercury).

HERE’S A POSITIVE AFFIRMATION FOR THE NEW MOON:

“It is a thought. It is not who I am.”

My mind and being is like the sky. Thoughts will pass through it. Is there a part of myself to send love to or a hug to right now?

The total solar eclipse is also a time of Letting Go and release to help us find freedom (called Moksha in Sanskrit).

Ask yourself: Where have you been judging yourself?  Or thinking you are small or frightened to do something?

These are the places within you to send love! Transform the pattern by addressing it differently.

First take a look at the thought. Are you thinking or feeling that the thought pattern does not belong? It is a cloud in the sky!

It is a thought, it is not who you are.

The thought will pass. Allow it to move along out of the SKY OF YOUR MIND with a deep breathe.

Mars and Mercury during the solar eclipse of 2019

Thank goodness Mars and Mercury are both out of the eclipse patterns but Venus and Saturn are caught in the winds of change this month. This is the Vedic or East Indian Skymap and so the new moon is actually seen in that region of sky when you are standing on the Earth looking up.
