The new moon in Scorpio helps you shift darkness into Light and opens a Portal of Power hidden within you.
It helps develop your intuition and transform fear in significant, life changing ways.
Since Scorpio is a water sign and Saturn aligns with the new moon here, you are being gifted ways literally change your life and patterns of fear this month.
HERE’S HOW TO ACCESS INTUITION AND TRANSFORM FEAR:
- Ask yourself “Am I dreaming?” “Am I dreaming right now?” as the first step in learning Lucid Dreaming (read below to learn why*).
- Make sure to meditate daily or
- Float in a swimming pool or in the ocean
- Try “floating” in a sensory deprivation tank or
- Lay down for 10 minutes with a cleared, small quartz crystal at your third eye (with the tip facing down toward your toes) or at your navel (turned upward) and allow your body to align with light and ‘charge your field’. Keep this short if you have not done this kind of thing before. (This is a simple variation of a Kathleen signature move in my many years of working with light and crystals in both the East Indian and energy healing system of Chinese medicine.)
If you regularly meditate, then you will notice how deep and quiet these days are. If you go for a daily walk, then take part of that time to just sit quietly once you come home, and be with the eerie silence which teems with life.
It will be like stopping and observing the desert – what seems stark and lifeless at first but comes alive and gets louder as your senses rise to noticing the messages the Universe has for you.
You can find pools of silence that are both powerful and nourishing and are a portal that you possess. Get ready to experience exponential states of relaxation when you meditate with this New Moon.
Experiment with this energy through December 6, 2016. The New Moon on November 29 is the PEAK energy of this theme.
*Why begin learning Lucid Dreaming?
This new moon provides a particularly powerful window to access the subconscious mind and dream world and learn how to cross the dark waters of fear or doubt in any area of your life.
My close friends and colleagues have repeatedly told me that I seem to be fairly fearless. Even though I have many great reasons that I feel safe in life, looking back, I can see my self-confidence and ability speak my mind or to fearlessly respond to my surroundings, no matter where I am at least partially comes from the intense and longstanding lucid dreaming practice I enacted in my late teens and early 20s.
You see, I used to have nightmares of battles between good and evil or repeated scary monsters dreams in my early college days (not often, but the themes repeated themselves). Once I started daily practices for lucid dreaming, I eventually could change any dream at will and most importantly, could and did transform and resolve those nightmares and darker themes to change the outcome.
I began to see my self-esteem and doubt diminish, I would speak up more and I easily traveled solo to the far reaches of the earth without any fear, taking me spontaneously to spiritual epicenters, like Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar on a song and prayer. (Lake Manasarovar is world’s highest freshwater lake and Mt. Kailash is the spiritual center of at least 4 world religions.)
At some point, I realized I did not have nightmares anymore.
So one action item for this week is to consider trying the first step in learning lucid dreaming. It is really easy.
Ask yourself, whenever you think of it:
“Am I dreaming?” “Am I dreaming right now?”
The more you ask yourself this during the day, the more likely it will be that you will ask yourself this question while in dream sleep or R.E.M. sleep, and the more likely you will be able to realize you are dreaming which is the first step in attaining a lucid dream.
You can also begin to observe in your waking life how you know you are not dreaming right now? The old joke of pinching yourself is a way to tell. But also, as you scan your environment, do all the windows and doors appear to be normal, are chairs and countertops hard?
Observation is a Spiritual practice:
Observing your environment for clues as to your wakefulness is a classic first step to many deep spiritual practices. Many traditions say we are dreaming right now if we do not realize that we are already enlightened.
Lucid Dreaming changes your brain and is proof of emotional transformation
True psychological healing can be seen in brain neuronal changes called neuroplasticity. In this case, I used lucid dreaming to bring about the brain changes that gave the healing and resolve that was needed.
Each month the New Moon arrives when the Sun and Moon align in the Moon’s orbit around Earth, with the Moon between us and the Sun.
Last time in 30 years
On Tuesday Nov 29th, Saturn, Sun and Moon are in Scorpio together for the last time in 30 years (this is the third new moon in Scorpio, which has occurred each year with Saturn since 2014).
This new moon in Scorpio is filled with the deep, dark waters of mystery. Saturn is akin to a black hole which may sound ominous but is teeming with the creative power of the Universe like a coral reef of space (the ‘event horizon’ of a black hole is where matter transforms into energy and plasma and what is destroyed becomes the newly activated building blocks of the cosmos; Saturn aptly represents this energy in the solar system and within us. We have creative forces within us that are creating new forms of energy at all times.)
You have great creative forces which are deep within your being.
Did you know that the entire cosmos is within you, from the vastness of the oceans on Earth to the expansion of space itself? This particular new moon reminds you of this possibility.
There is a place within you, which IS you, which transcends all questions, all matter, fear or doubt and is the center of your being. It is the place beyond, which is ever present and which has no words.
Ultimately a deep, mysterious source of creation lives within you and this New Moon with Saturn in Scorpio light up this knowledge on an experiential level within you.
There is also the energetic exchange between Mars and Saturn right now which is unique to how Vedic Astrology adds layers of skill sets and powers when interpreting individual birth charts. Mars and Saturn continue to help you find efficiency, personal discipline and the keys to your longevity through December 10, 206. Listen and act accordingly.
Remember, those who had paid subscriptions get early access to the monthly insights in the monthly PDF and monthly astro videos I share; it is available on the first of every month.

The Ocean within you
When I floated deep in the ocean right at the edge of the continental shelf or tectonic plates, I felt the immense stunningly beautiful vastness of the ocean, of space and of life itself fill every cell of my being. With nothing visible below, above or in front of me, all felt possible and all felt well.
This trifecta of Saturn (the ultimate dark matter planet connected with space and time itself) with the New Moon and Sun in Scorpio brings this deep knowing to you this week and helps you access the deep mysterious secrets of our Universe, that lie within you.
You will experience first-hand glimpses of this truth when you meditate on and around THIS magical new moon.
Experiment with this energy through December 6, 2016. This is because the New Moon on November 29 is the PEAK energy of this theme.
Why am I saying the new moon is in Scorpio?
*The Vedic map is 23 degrees different than a typical Western astrology map. Any Sidereal Western astrologer uses a similar map to a Vedic Astrologer. What this simply means for you is that the dates of the Sun signs in slightly shifted from your ‘magazine horoscope’. This is the map of what astronomers use and is viewing the energy of YOU standing on the Earth and viewing the heavens from Earth, not the Tropic of Cancer.
That is why this system is called a ‘fixed star’ system because the planets, Moon and even the Sun appear to move across our sky in front of and co-mingling with the energies of the fixed stars and galaxies beyond our solar system. The ancients of India understood these energies and have documented the results of the planets and moon in various places for over 5,000 years.
