A Solar Eclipse Impacts the land and people where they shadow the Earth
Solar Eclipse Q & A
Many people ask me: “How will an eclipse impact the areas where it is visible or where it shadows Earth?”
Answer: All solar eclipses affect the land, people, flora, and fauna where it shadows the Earth.
It is NOT recommended to view a solar eclipse, especially a Total Solar Eclipse according to Vedic Astrology – even if you have eye protection.
Vedic Astrology has observed and documented for thousands of years, the effects for years after a region is shadowed by a total solar eclipse.
Vedic Astrology has observed that the number of minutes a solar eclipse shadows land, it will create difficulty in the general population of the people, flora, fauna and land for the number of years that the eclipse shadows in minutes. For example, a 4 minute shadow of totality across land in a Total Solar Eclipse will cause stress for the shadowed region for 4 years following the event.
I share this concept, not to create fear, but to help you understand that when a solar eclipse shadows an area it can create dissonance and shift the energetic field of the animals, the people, the flora, the fauna, and the land itself for the number of years as there are minutes of shadowing.
Shadow of Eclipse affects lives of those in shadow
A branch of Vedic Astrology called mundane astrology says that the effects of a total solar eclipse will affect the land, people, flora, and fauna for the amount of time in years as there are minutes of complete shadow.
The areas that are completely 100% shadowed by a total solar eclipse receive the most intense results of disruption and challenges for the following time period (determined by the number of minutes of totality). Unless you follow a location for years, you will not see the effect that a total solar eclipse has.
For instance, the total solar eclipse across the United States in August of 2017 lasted 4 minutes and shadowed the Earth from Salem, Oregon to the Southwest of America. Over the 4 years, forest fires and then floods caused erosion and the homeless epidemic took root in the cities that saw the entire shadow of the eclipse. But the location of totality, was only in complete 100% shadow for just under 3 minutes.
So the stressful effects of the eclipse would last just under 3 years in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. See below.
Here is a list of cities which could see part of the Total Solar Eclipse in August 2017. See that these locations experienced more stress than other parts of the nation from 2017 – 2021.
Salem, Oregon;Jackson, Wyoming; Kansas City, Kansas; Clarksville, Tennesee; Charleston, South Carolina
- See the full list of cities which was shadowed by the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse.
- The location of totality was “near Hopkinsville, Kentucky at 18:20 UTC, which is 1:20 pm local time. Here, totality lasted for 2 minutes and 40 seconds.”
Areas of lesser shadow are still affected and disrupted socially and physically, but only to the same percentage as the shadowing.
If I cannot see a solar eclipse, does it affect me at all or as much according to Vedic Astrology?
According to Vedic Astrology, you can still be affected by a solar eclipse, even if it is not visible, but the effects will be less. The greatest results of disruption occur if someone has natal planets in the constellations where the eclipse occurs, and if the eclipse shadows where they live.
So, if an eclipse does not shadow you, you will have less ripples in your life, but can still benefit from using the eclipse in your spiritual life. When you choose to be in meditation or to be still and not eating or being active (and awake) at the peak or maximum time of eclipse, you can harness positive results with your personal discipline.
This is why it is good to know when the 4 to 6 days a year the eclipses occur. This way you can practice cultivating Peace in your life when you unhook from the world and meditate or pray or say mantra at the peak eclipse time (even if the eclipse is visible somewhere else in the world). It is still a window of opportunity for your personal spiritual practices.
This is one of the secrets of Vedic Astrology and why I share this with the public because the benefits can be enormous when you use those days to increase your dedication to practice. It has an exponential effect on your life and psyche.
