Theme of this year’s New Moon in Pisces – Let Go to Let The New Begin
We, as a global society are starting something new. This is big.
New Moon Theme is about completion, letting go and creating a new pattern or cycle in life. Pisces is the ‘last’ of 12 zodiac constellations and a new moon here asks “Where you are finished with an old way of doing things?” The COVID-19 pandemic has reminded all of us about the importance of our sustenance, health care, families and communities. Where in your life are you ready to welcome peace and new patterns which help you tap into peace each day.

Peace practices and creating calm daily are essential in a time rife with fear.
New Moons in general are about new cycles, but THIS New Moon is in the last constellation of the zodiac indicating a finishing of one way of doing things as you open to the new way!
Do you see how this might be connected with nourishing yourself and your inner desires from the full moon as it guides you to the new moon that ends up being in this particular place of finishing and sets a new beginning?
Fixed Energy inside of Flow
This new moon is both fixed energy and all about flow. It’s your time to begin something new and finish-off something else. Are you starting your day with a grounding health routine? NOW is the perfect time to really double down and begin a daily practice. It could be sitting quietly and looking out the window without music on, first thing in the morning with tea or coffee. You could go for a walk in the fresh air daily. Or start a yoga, meditation or qi gong practice.
Now is the time. Things are about to get busier – and this is an important window to really focus on letting go of the things that keep you from tapping into your flow.
Nourish your heart, listen to what meets the inner desires of the silence or the quiet with others, and having true connection with yourself.
When you have those moments of deep, quiet connection with yourself, you then know and are capable of letting go what really needs to let go.
The Pisces New Moon is in a “fixed or creating new foundations” lunar mansion. Fixed energy in a water sign of flow and flourishing brings up images of an island in the middle of a large lake or ocean. You could take this image as ‘isolation’ or the beauty of human interdependence.
Island life: When people live on an island they are often reliant on each other and barter and commerce between those who live on the island. It’s a time to have a powerful LOCAL impact with your buying choices.
Buy local no matter where you live to help stimulate your local economy. Take care of the elderly and check-in on neighbors (with phone calls and emails or sweet notes in mail boxes). We are all in this together.
We are in the Age of Pisces (actually)
For those of you that don’t know that whole song of “The dawning of the Age of Aquarius” is from the Western astrology sky map which has not adjusted for the precession of the equinoxes over the past 1500 years.
We’re actually in the age of Pisces according to the Vedic maps, and this is the time of flow and love – and the time to awaken to love even in the midst of tragedy in the world.
New Moon Ritual
March 24 is about “Let’s do this, and let’s establish it.”
You know what to establish, and you know what to let go because you’ve listened to your heart and the full moon highlighted for all of us in the month of March. This is such an important month. It’s a transition month, but it’s incredibly important that if, we don’t do this inner work, then what we end up working on over the next three, four months doesn’t have that quality of consciousness, where we’ve allowed the quiet to inform us of what’s really important.
Name What You Are Letting Go
I think it’s important to name that you’re letting something go, saying
INTENTION: “THIS (NAME IT) is what I am letting go. I release you from my life, my contracts and my need for this.”
Say this three times, it adds conviction and confidence in what you are doing.
(It’s important to name that you had a need for it and that you release the need for it. You were getting something from that pattern, even if it is just ‘what is known’ or familiar.)
Sit quietly and notice what the new freedom feels like in your body, mind and soul.
See if your heart jumps at the thought of NEW what might be coming into your life.
Saturn and choosing Peace instead of Fear
Kathleen lives in Seattle, WA which was the epi-center of the Coronavirus outbreak with the first death from the virus in the United States.
Please focus on a healthy daily routine – take regular media fasts – and get fresh air everyday. Fear is the domain of Saturn and when Saturn moved into Capricorn on January 24, 2020 that began a time of contraction – emotionally and for the markets. When Jupiter joins Saturn in Capricorn, there will be an improvement in the U.S. economy and a ripple effect will ensue
To master the energy of Saturn, remain with FACTS and science-based answers. That is what I will be sharing with you – science-based solutions which come from Vedic Astrology, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and aromatherapy.
