Saturn and Venus are in Retrograde Now
From the Vedic astrology system, the following planets are in retrograde right now:
Saturn is retrograde  in Aquarius from June 17 to November 3, 2023
Saturn is in retrograde right now and has a very, very different effect than other planets.  Where a planet is retrograding will also have a slightly different flavor as well.
Saturn retrograde is one of the larger social planets because Saturn passes through a constellation for two and a half years, and will retrograde two to three times over those two and a half years.
That long cycle ends up bringing about a bigger social Pattern, a realignment and a reassessment with either commitment to what’s happening with the poor or homelessness, or agriculture.
These are themes associated with Saturn. And that’s just on a social level.
But for yourself, when Saturn is in retrograde you might take a look at your commitment to where you would like to volunteer and give back.
Where you are connected or not connected with mentors, the elderly, older people in your life?
Or do you want to garden? Are you spending enough time being connected with the earth, and spending enough time in nature, by taking time out and meditating?
Because Saturn is the planet of age, but it is also the planet of meditation, calm, and withdrawal from the world.
Jupiter is retrograde in Aries from September 4 to December 30, 2023
Jupiter retrograde has a very different theme depending on what constellation it’s retrograding in.
But Jupiter is the kingly, queenly, or planet of rulers on a social level.
When Jupiter is in retrograde we often see rulers going through a revamping, a reassessment, and possibly being replaced. Or they change their tune regarding what they are saying and dedicated to on an outward level.
Personally, rulers might be going through a change as well.
So for a great leader, if you’re a mayor, a CEO, or any kind of a leader, even of the PTA, the leadership and the vision that you internally have might go through an assessment.
And that might take 3 months as Venus usually retrogrades for 3 months at a time.
It might take a while for all of the forces at play to come into agreement.
For example it could be parliament, things like this, that actually it will take a while to come into new agreements and new understandings.
When Jupiter is in retrograde it’s an important time to assess and realize that your vision may be changing for what you want in your life.
Because you are the mayor, or the king, or queen of your life, and Jupiter is the big vision planet, it’s also connected with generosity, family, and abundance and growth.
You might even go through an assessment of what you consider to be important, or what you even consider to be abundance when Jupiter is in retrograde.
And that’s an important thing to take stock of when Jupiter retrogrades.
