Venus in Pisces is where the planet of love brings out the qualities of refinement, beauty, creativity, the arts and connection in all of us during this time.

Venus is here teach us how to love, that we are love, that we are light. Not just knowing it intellectually, but experiencing and embodying it.

Venus moves into Pisces on January 27th, 2017

This is a BIG DEAL because Venus is going to be in this power place until May 30, 2017!
Things may juicy, expansive, and glamorous going forward now.

Normally, Venus spins right through it’s favorite place in the sky, Pisces, for three weeks at a time, but this year it will be there for four months.
There is good news and mild cautionary news about this Venus. The last time we had this Venus was 8 years ago in spring of 2009.

Venus repeats its patterns in a dance with Earth every 8 years. The path of Venus actually draws a sacred geometry mandala in the heavens in its dance with Earth. I will be sharing a video on this dance to show you the beauty and wonder of the relationship of Earth and Venus.

Here are some highlights for almost half of you out there.

Those of you who are Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Taurus Ascendants in the Vedic System better get ready for some over the top experiences:

* For Pisces, inspiration and creativity (with a little weight gain or blood sugar issues)
* For Gemini major connections and expansion of your career
* For Virgo having love and care of your life partner and some possible short term health issues for your partner (related to blood sugars or reproductive organs or hormone balance)
* For Sagittarius some over budget purchases and repairs related to your home (tighten that belt and you might come in just over budget)
* For Taurus some incredible events, group experiences and well-heeled friends coming into your life – all during that four month time period. Reach out and have some fun with friends, colleagues your extended or chosen family or tribe.

Venus is in Pisces and spinning and dancing through its favorite place in the sky for the next four months.

WARNING ABOUT VENUS IN PISCES
Venus in Pisces expands love, opportunity and creativity during these four months in 2017 – the only warning?  Indulgence.

Venus is not associated with the opulent life style of movie-stars for no reason. Just as beauty, being beautiful, being attached to how someone looks, and obsession with ‘taking care of the body’ can trap people in a superficial world where their spirit longs to be free and known – the dark side of Venus can one of indulgence of any kind. For regular folks who are not movie-stars, it can be obsessed with what someone thinks about you, getting caught in habits with sugar, bread, drugs, sex or pleasure of any kind (even focusing on opulence or high quality food can be overdone.)

Not surprisingly, many movie stars have off the charts Venus in their Vedic Astrology horoscope, and many have Venus with Rahu, which often implies ‘surgical enhancements’ will be their choice to stay looking good or obsession with how they look – the TV, music and movie industry has helped create the environment where talent needs to be good looking too.

So, if you are a Gemini ascendant or Moon, then you might find that you are merging work and fun together and might be burning the candle at both ends and possibly indulging in things that affect your sleep and healthy patterns in your life – but you will be having wild, fun with your work and probably making a good income while doing it.  One of the ways to work with this karma, is to donate to charities which help with education (focus on the mind not the body) and which help educate people with diabetes, a classic Venus related issue.

VENUS, CONNECTION AND LOVE
In general though, Venus is the planet of connection, of feeling connected with your fellow brothers and sisters on the planet, of you being connected with your Highest Self and Love.  From those things is where creativity flows.
