Today’s teaching with Kathleen Whalen for Sunday is in two parts – Solar Eclipses in this blog post and Sun and the third chakra.

Today we will learn about solar eclipses according to Vedic Astrology. Keep reading to see the dates and times of the Total Solar Eclipse in early December 2021.

Not many people know this – but there is one particular astrological phenomenon you can use to reverse karmic patterns and shake off unwanted habits…

Often within just a day – and keep the improvement for at least 6 months.

I’m talking about solar eclipses.

And the next one is just 3 weeks away and will give you a window to do just that – provided you act Consciously of course 🙂

The next solar eclipse is TOTAL which gives it a stronger tug on our consciousness – so when you choose to undo a pattern on this day it has exponential results because there is a tug to either indulge or to give into desires.

You have a window into changing habits, even reversing them if you can fight impulses to DO that habit or random unhealthy choice on the solar eclipse.

Want to quit smoking? Want to exercise daily, quit sugar or stop overspending, remove resistance to meditate or do yoga? Want to decrease anger or swearing?

Then ON the solar eclipse day DO NOT do the bad habit for just one day, and DO the positive, healing habit gently. 

Doing this will set you up for success for the next six months. Pretty rad right?

Here is the big secret:

What is done on eclipse days counts exponentially in your karmic bank account.

So, if you get angry or rude on an eclipse day, or if you choose to be kind and gracious…

* Try to NOT do a habit that you want to quit…

* Try to DO a healthy habit you want to be with you for at least 6 months (like daily walking, gentle stretching, yoga, eating healthy, praying, singing, being kind and joy filled)…

* Try not to spend money, and see how your ability to say no to ‘the little extras’ shifts.

Dec 3 & 4 is the last solar eclipse of 2021. What a way to clear the slate just before a glorious, Green Day-filled holiday season. (December Conscious Calendars has some amazing Green Days!) The eclipse shadows Earth across Antarctica for 1 minute 54 seconds, and also partially shadows S. Africa and the south Atlantic.

So, you’ll want to have all shopping finished and be in the chill zone by Dec 3, since the eclipse is either really late Dec 3 or early Dec 4.

The Total Solar Eclipse and Mega Red Day is with the NEW Moon in Scorpio. 

Time of Greatest Eclipse (GE) is only 10 minutes before the New Moon and is at:

Dec 4 at 7:33 am UTC & GMT, Dec 4 at 2:33 am EST

Dec 3 at 11:33 pm PST

Dec 4 at 6:33 AEDT / 8:33 pm NZDT

In a solar eclipse, the forces of vitality and new life are eclipsed, and this affects everyone on the planet during the time of eclipse. It especially affects the populations where the solar eclipse ‘shadows’ the Earth.
