Saturn moves into Aquarius in January 2023 heralds great change.
This finishes some of the patterns of fear and contraction that Saturn in Capricorn brings. Saturn returned to Capricorn in July 2022 – Jan 2023.
July 2022 is when the issues with supply chains began again and when the existing inflation started to really worry the everyday consumer.
January 18, 2023, is in essence, finishing some of the energies of the pandemic. January brings much of the fear and contraction around the pandemic to a close (until it retrogrades in mid June 2023 where a new fresh layer of your fear patterns can be healed).
Saturn in Aquarius – Saturn Return

Saturn Sets A New Cultural Pattern for the Masses
Now, this is related to Saturn and Capricorn. So in January 18, Saturn changes constellations and moves back into Aquarius, where it was a little bit in the beginning of 2022, when we started to have even more sense of freedom and movement. So with it, there becomes a new pattern of two and a half years.
This is setting a new cultural pattern for the masses to actually be involved with huge changes related to caring for the masses, infrastructure and idea changes related to technology, energy, right, like there’s an energy crisis in Europe, because of the war in Ukraine and other reasons. And in essence, you know, the oil companies have made tons of money, the entire market is down, the economy is down.
And there is this turning of saying hey, what can we do that can actually help everyone and how’s everyone and feed everyone and bring energy to everyone? This is the next two and a half years and it’s big. So there is a lot and we’ll see.
I mean, we actually have in the United States, tons of funding for new infrastructure, everything From chipmaking, to the electrical grid, to harnessing solar and wind and even other new forms of power.
So this overview is already a little long, but I just wanted to say that it’s a really, really big thing.
Contraction and Fear
And so if you’ve been feeling like, Gee, I wasn’t sure if the pandemic was over, like that energy around supply chain stuff, and that contraction and fear a lot of people are in fear around recession, interest rates rising in the scheme of things, you know, yes, interest rates are rising. And I think it’s a little harder for the Canadian friends who want to buy homes, because the way you do that is a little different than in the United States.
Perspective
But for the most part, a 3.5% rate in the UK, at least, that’s the bank rate in the UK. And our rates in the US aren’t that high in terms of borrowing for a home or major purchases. Because it there’s usually a 30 year arc when it comes to real estate.
And I’m old enough to recall having friends tell me that have been in the industry, 40 years now that there was a period of time and real estate, where the banks were asking 18 to 21% APR, no one could buy a home, no one could sell a home unless they carried the deed themselves and sold the home.
So I just want you to realize that in the scheme of things 6% in the US for home 3.5 bank rate in the UK, and the rising, variable rates in Canada are still relatively low in the 30 year real estate cycle.
Now, this is to add perspective, it’s not that people aren’t feeling the crunch. It’s not that some people are having a hard time finding food and having shelter and warmth in Europe and Ukraine, right? It’s just that in the greater perspective, watch your patterns of fear and contraction and worry.
This is what Saturn is shifting, Saturn and Capricorn will tend to be very conservative, want to make sure there’s only sure things and be very, very tight fisted and concerned and want things done their way. Okay, there is this new movement of being open to what is for the greater good. And that is what this new Saturn is heralding.
