Dec 3 & 4 is the last solar eclipse of 2021. What a way to clear the slate just before a glorious, Green Day-filled holiday season.

The eclipse occurs before sunrise on Dec 4 for you. So you will use the night of Dec 3 as your “reset or Mega Red Day” to nestle into the calm.

The eclipse peaks at 11:33 pm PST on Dec 3 and Dec 4 at 2:33 am EST. This is the ideal time to be in meditation, making a promise to yourself of your commitment to ONE major focus each day. (You can add on to your daily routine, this is a way to uplevel your life). Then on Dec 4, wake and enact your daily ritual first thing (your walk, mantra, meditation, yoga, qi gong, dance, cycling) and/or stay focused on NOT eating or doing something you are trying to quit. It might take extra focus on that one thing, and you will feel the ease in the pattern over the next six months when you do this.

In a solar eclipse, the forces of vitality and new life are eclipsed, and this affects everyone on the planet during the time of the eclipse. It especially affects the populations where the solar eclipse ‘shadows’ the Earth.

You’ll want to have all shopping finished and be in the chill zone by Dec 3, since the eclipse is either really late Dec 3 if you are in the U.S., Canada, or the Americas (Eastern time to Hawaii Time the eclipse occurs late on Dec 3 for you) or early Dec 4 if you are in Europe

Today’s teaching with Kathleen Whalen for Sunday is in two parts – Solar Eclipses in this blog post and Sun and the third chakra.

Today we will learn about solar eclipses according to Vedic Astrology.

Not many people know this – but there is one particular astrological phenomenon you can use to reverse karmic patterns and shake off unwanted habits…

Often within just a day – and keep the improvement for at least 6 months.

I’m talking about solar eclipses.

The next solar eclipse is TOTAL which gives it a stronger tug on our consciousness – so when you choose to undo a pattern on this day it has exponential results because there is a tug to either indulge or to give into desires.

You have a window into changing habits, even reversing them if you can fight impulses to DO that habit or random unhealthy choice on the solar eclipse.
